Make a mobile website

Mobile websites are designed for small digital devices like iPods with internet access and smartphones.

Last week you saw the one for the Hands on Literacy conference:

Here's another one I'm creating for the Red Dot Book Awards:

Wirenode is an online tool that lets you create up to three free mobile websites.

We have set up four UWC accounts for us to make 12 mobile websites.  All you have to do is login.  (Don't create a new account....)

What mobile websites will you create?

Marius created Grade 6 Events

Rohaan created Grade 6 Calendar

Once you finish your mobile app, go have a look at Appolicious, a social bookmarking site for apps.

UWCSEA has an Appolicious account, where we record all the apps we've bought and keep track of ones we want to buy -- on our "wishlist".

An Appolicious account has been set up for Grade 6 students, so they can review and recommend apps via their "wishlist"

The login is "grade6uwc" and the password is the same as for "eastinfant" in school. Feel free to add apps to the "wishlist".
