What is MLA? How do I make a bibliography?

MLA is short for Modern Language Association -- and when you hear the term, 9 times out of 10 it is in connection with bibliographies -- those lists of references that every good research project must have to show where the information came from.

MLA recommends a particular style of listing the author, title, publisher, date, etc. for different kinds of sources: books, websites, articles.
